- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The thing with having treatment for back pain is that you become dependent on the treatment. Which makes you feel a bit helpless. The great thing about Alexander Technique is that you learn new ways of moving and then its up to you. Makes you less dependent. I had 6 sessions with Mark. I’d done Alexander Technique 20 years ago and it really helped, but I’m older and less flexible now so I thought I’d remind myself of the good things I’d learned. His approach was different – and really good. He has a way of saying things that make them stick in the memory. Which is really useful when I’m bending or even just walking.
